Sandra Chandler, Just Curves, using her Curve Master Presser Foot for Hexagon Orange Peel.

Judy Hall of Punch with Judy, our Australian distributor sent this fantastic submission!

"Here’s the front of what we did with your Hexagon Bag after doing some classes with guest from USA, Sandra Chandler, Just Curves, using her Curve Master Presser Foot for Hexagon Orange Peel. It certainly did allow those in our hands-on workshop to make something very useful from the one block they made in class. Most go home with samples and that’s the way they stay. The Just Curves Hexagonal Orange Peel Template pattern is ideal for your bag. This is not the kaleidoscope method, but three separate fabrics, pieced, though the center section is “stacked” for cutting. "

A big thanks to Judy Hall for this photo/idea submission!

MOOD Designer Fabrics NYC - Project Runway

OK, yes I am a Project Runway fan. So is my husband, it's one of the few shows we watch together. It's probably that he's really a Heidi Klum fan, but that's 'ok' with me. We both get to enjoy the show together for what ever reason.

And so, being a fan of Project Runway, of course Mood Fabrics had to be one of my stops while visiting NYC after the Surtex show. Here's my souvenir . . .

I did purchase fabric and some fantastic shell buttons. Perhaps they'll show up on a Scrap-bag™ of mine in the near future!

I also made a stop at City Quilter.
