Scrap-bags Patterns + Kingyo + Yo Yo's = THIS!

Remember my post of Monday, September 21, 2009  Kingyo & Yo Yo's, the one where I was unleashing my creativity with the Kingyo Collection from Red Rooster Fabrics?

Discharge Dyed "Knotty But Nice" Scrap-bag!

Here's another Pattern done up featuring the discharge dyed fabrics that I got from Lucy Senstad at Aunt Annie's Quilts and Silks. This time I used my "Knotty But Nice" pattern.

The two commercial fabrics used are "Golden Harvest" by Anna Fishkin for Red Rooster Fabrics DSN#17750 and Jet black from Michael Miller. I then substituted the discharge dyed fabric for the top of the flap.


Lucy from Aunt Annies also offered this fabulous handmade ceramic bead as a decorative element. You can check with Lucy via. email on the availability of the beads and discharged fabrics.

This bag features our Knotty but Nice Pattern. The stripe is the ikat fabric from Guatamala, the folded fan fabric is from Kaffe Fassett, and the purple is from Andover Fabrics by Nancy Davis Murty.
